The Muhammad Khalifa Cup

In July 2025, the first edition of our antiracist community tournament took place. Twenty teams, and over 200 people, came together in South Dublin in the spirit of sportsmanship and solidarity. We were joined by over 30 Direct Provision residents, who we also provided with kits and transportation.

All aspects of the tournament, from registration, to food, drink and live music are provided free of charge.

The tournament is named after Muhammad Khalifa, a young footballer who visited Tallaght stadium as a child, and was killed in the Gaza Genocide in 2024.
